ETHICS AND CONFIDENTIALITY
The researchers are fully appreciative of the potential sensitivity
of research relating to issues of discrimination and can assure
potential respondents that the highest standards of research conduct
will be applied throughout the study.
All data provided will be treated in the strictest confidence
and stored securely, in locked facilities at the Faculty of Law
University of Tasmania and the School of Social Work and Applied
Human Sciences, University of Queensland.
Computer records which may relate to the research will be kept
in locked facilities and be password-protected. Information provided
will not be used for any purpose other than the research as described
and no individual will be identified or identifiable in any subsequent
report.
The research has been approved in accordance with the National Health
and Medical Research guidelines by the Human Research Ethics Committees
associated with the researchers’ institutions.
