PROJECT C: THE LEGAL SYSTEM PROJECT
Aim: to identify and document all
cases arising within the Australian legal system involving allegations
of genetic discrimination, whether or not pursued to final hearing,
and to investigate the nature and circumstances of such cases and
their outcomes and the features of the legal mechanisms followed.
Method: a national survey will
be conducted of all anti-discrimination tribunals, anti-discrimination
commissioners, industrial tribunals (with jurisdiction to deal with
discrimination arising within the employment relationship), and
ombudsman.
